Alnwick Castle, Northumberland. Another of Northumberland's magnificent castles, probably most commonly known for its links with the Harry Potter films. Whenever we visit Northumberland we make time for a walk along the River Aln which offers some of the best views of the castle through parkland designed by capability Brown.
